Nikki Glaser Reveals She Spent Nearly $100K Following Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour: ‘Would’ve Paid Even More’

Comedian Nikki Glaser is a self-proclaimed Swiftie and has the receipts to prove it. In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Glaser revealed that she spent close to $100,000 attending Taylor Swift’s globe-conquering Eras Tour, which spanned over two years and 149 shows.
Glaser attended 22 of those performances and says the hefty price tag included not just tickets but also travel expenses, hotels, and the cost of flying out and hosting friends who accompanied her to the shows.
“It’s not just the tickets,” she explained. “It’s the whole experience—flights, hotels, merch. But it was all worth it. I’d do it again and even pay more if I had to.”
A Justified Splurge
Despite the eye-popping expense, Glaser feels no guilt about her investment in Swift fandom. She even compared the cost to raising a child.
“I’ve decided not to have kids, and that decision wasn’t easy,” she shared. “But when I looked up how much it costs to raise a kid, I realized spending this on Taylor Swift is completely justified. It’s my way of investing in my happiness.”
Defending Swifties
Glaser also addressed criticism aimed at fans who followed Swift on her extensive tour, dismissing claims that their spending was frivolous.
“People love to shame others for spending money on their passions,” Glaser said. “No one criticizes someone for having kids and spending on them. But when I go to 22 Taylor Swift shows, it’s like, ‘How dare you flaunt your privilege.’”
She added, “To those people, I say: Were you expecting me to invite you? I don’t even know you, ma’am.”
A Record-Breaking Tour
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour became a cultural phenomenon, grossing a record-breaking $2 billion and delighting fans worldwide with its three-plus-hour setlists spanning her 11-album discography. The tour, which concluded this month after 632 days, has already cemented itself as one of the most successful tours in music history.
Glaser’s Swift Devotion
Glaser, who recently landed the hosting gig for the Golden Globes, says Swift is one of her biggest inspirations. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, she joked that Swift’s presence at the awards would come with a promise of no jokes at her expense.
“Taylor, if you’re reading this, you can sit on the stage next to me,” she said. “Enjoy your night. No jokes, just vibes.”
Glaser’s enthusiasm for Swift shows no signs of waning, proving that for this dedicated fan, the Eras Tour was more than worth the price of admission.
